COMMUNITY STANDARDS

At Hapteam, we are committed to fostering a positive, respectful, and collaborative environment for freelancers and businesses alike. Our community standards outline the behaviors and values expected of all members to ensure a professional and welcoming space.


1. Respect and Professionalism
Treat all members of the community with respect, regardless of their background, identity, or experience level.
Avoid offensive, discriminatory, or harassing language and actions. This includes, but is not limited to, language that is sexist, racist, or otherwise harmful.
Communicate professionally in all interactions, whether through messages, project discussions, or public forums.


2. Integrity and Honesty
Be honest in your profile information, qualifications, and skillsets. Misrepresentation of abilities, experience, or portfolio work is not tolerated.
Uphold agreements, meet deadlines, and fulfill project requirements as agreed upon with clients or freelancers.
Avoid any form of fraud, plagiarism, or misuse of the platform, including fake reviews or manipulation of ratings.


3. Quality of Work
Strive to deliver high-quality work that meets the agreed-upon standards and expectations.
Communicate clearly and proactively with clients or freelancers if there are challenges or delays in the project.
Provide honest feedback, constructive criticism, and collaborate for mutual improvement.


4. Confidentiality and Data Protection
Protect sensitive information shared by clients, freelancers, or the platform itself. Do not share private project details, personal information, or proprietary data without consent.
Adhere to our Privacy Policy regarding the handling of user information.


5. Fair Competition
Avoid practices that could harm other users or undermine the community, including price manipulation, spamming, or unfairly competing for projects.
Refrain from soliciting work outside of the platform that circumvents our system, payments, or agreements.


6. Zero Tolerance for Harassment
Any form of harassment, bullying, or abuse will not be tolerated. This includes unwelcome advances, threats, or intimidation.
If you experience or witness harassment, report it immediately to Hapteam's support team. We will take appropriate action to investigate and address the issue.


7. Conflict Resolution
Approach disputes or disagreements with a calm, solution-focused mindset. Use the platform’s resolution tools when conflicts arise.
Respect the platform's decisions in dispute resolution and arbitration.


8. Adherence to Platform Guidelines
Follow all of Hapteam's Terms of Service, including payment policies, project guidelines, and usage rules.
Do not engage in activities that compromise the platform’s security, functionality, or reputation, such as hacking, phishing, or spreading malware.


9. Inclusivity and Diversity
Embrace and celebrate the diversity of our global community. We encourage collaboration between people of all backgrounds and experiences.
Harassment or discrimination on the basis of race, gender, age, nationality, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic is strictly prohibited.


10. Reporting Violations
If you encounter behavior that violates these standards, report it to our support team immediately.
We will review reports and take appropriate action, including warnings, suspensions, or removal from the platform.
